Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa IS "BEST IN THE WORLD"
CONDE NAST TRAVELER 2002 ANNUAL READERS' CHOICE AWARDS
NOVEMBER 2002 - The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa has been ranked the #45 "Best Hotel in North America" by readers of Condé Nast Traveler. The distinguished honor for The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa, which also perennially earns the Wine Spectator "Best Award of Excellence" and AAA Four-Diamond ratings, was reported in the November issue of the magazine which is read by the most traveled people in the world.
Condé Nast Traveler's Annual Readers' Choice Awards are recognized as the predominant international benchmark of travel service. For the 15th year, the magazine tabulated surveys from over 28,000 readers - making it the largest private poll of consumer attitudes in the United States. Hotels were judged on the quality of their service, guestrooms, food/restaurants, design/layout and location.
"Throughout the years, we have been privileged to receive many awards, but none is more important than the Reader's Choice which truly represents the ultimate in customer satisfaction," said James Cooper, Innkeeper.
"This vote of confidence by consumers tells us that we have achieved a high level of customer satisfaction, combining world-class service and an incomparable vacation experience," explained Ibby Cooper, Innkeeper.
After a recent fire in October the inn will be closed for a period of renovation and expansion. "We are inspired by our guests' commitment to our establishment and are certain that once we re-open discriminating and experienced travelers will continue to rank The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa at the top of their list which includes some of the finest inn experiences to be found anywhere," the Coopers concluded. |
